Trego Town Board has changed their monthly meeting date. This notice appeared in the Spooner Advocate June 11, 2015:
If you’re planning to fish in Northwest Wisconsin, please take a look at this information from the Department of Natural Resources.
Trego is located in Northwest Wisconsin. It’s home to the Namekagon River and Trego Lake where you’ll find excellent fishing, camping, and canoeing. One of our favorite summertime activities is tubing the river. On warm summer days, rent a tube, catch a ride upstream and spend the afternoon floating the river with friends. Don’t forget the sun screen!
The Namekagon River is a designated Wild and Scenic Riverway — one leg of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Perfect for families or groups who want a quiet getaway on the order of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. After your day of fishing, canoeing, tubing or wildlife watching, visit one of our local establishments for a cool refreshing drink and an ever-changing variety of delicious fare.
